Wade Fields is a former NASCAR driver from Sanford, NC. He competed in seven Sprint Cup Series events in his career.
Fields debuted in 1951, when he finished 23rd at Columbus. Fields would competed in five more events that year, topped by a career-best 11th place finish at Dayton. However, he only recorded one other top-20 on the year and finished inside the top-25 three times. He ended the year with a 58th in the Southern 500.
Fields final race was a lone event in the 1956 season, racing at Darlington. Starting 52nd in the seventy-car Southern 500, Fields completed 244 of the 364 laps in route to a 42nd place finish.
