Troy Ruttman (March 11, 1930 - May 19, 1997) was a NASCAR driver from Mooreland, OK. He competed in seven Sprint Cup Series events in his brief career, managing some five top-tens.
He debuted in 1962, racing at Atlanta. Starting 22nd in the field of forty-six, Ruttman shocked the field by completing all but one lap in route to a spectacular 5th place finish.
Following that success, Ruttman returned for five races in 1963, starting off with a career-best 3rd place effort at Riverside. He then earned two more top-tens in the other four races: an 8th in a qualifier event at Daytona and a 9th at Atlanta.
His final race would come in 1964, racing once again at Riverside. Starting 17th, Ruttman ran yet another consistent race, falling a few laps down but still driving to a 10th place effort.
