Thomas William "Tom" Dill (August 15, 1928 - March 18, 2018)[1] was a NASCAR driver from Harborcreek, PA. He competed in three Grand National events in his career.
All of those starts came in 1961, when Dill debuted at Daytona, racing in the Daytona 500 qualifier event. Starting 28th in the field, Dill drove his way to a solid 18th place effort in the qualifier event and earned a spot in the 500. He ran well there too, driving to a 17th place finish. He, however, didn't run well at Darlington, qualifying poorly and ending up just 27th after an early crash.
He passed away on March 18, 2018 at the age of 89.
