Stephen Cox is an American racing driver competing in endurance sports car racing, the CRA Truck Series and the Super Cup Stock Car Series.
Cox won a national championship in 2024 with Wittenauer Racing's F class entry in the Champcar Endurance Series.
He had previously competed in the ARCA Truck Series, Hooters Pro Cup Series, Best in the Desert off road racing, I-CAR Modified Series, GT Challenge Series and World Racing League among others.
Known as a versatile driver, Cox has set track records on both ovals (Midvale Speedway, OH) and road courses (Gingerman Raceway, MI and Nelson Ledges, OH). He has scored wins on dirt, asphalt ovals and road circuits, and has driven in several major American off-road racing events such as the Parker 425 and the Henderson Fabtech Desert Classic.
In 2004 he won the GT Challenge Series sports car championship and the rookie of the year award in the same season at Oklahoma's Hallett Motor Racing Circuit.
Cox is credited with 34 career wins, 20 pole positions, 3 track records and over 200 top ten finishes in all forms of racing.
