Slick Smith is a former NASCAR driver from Atlanta, GA. He competed in fifty Sprint Cup Series events in his career, racing from 1949 to 1955. 1953 was his best year, finishing 12th in points after earning ten of his eighteen career top-ten finishes and his only career pole: starting 1st at Raleigh. His best effort, however, came in 1954: a 4th at North Wilkesboro.
