Russ Truelove (January 14, 1925 - April 25, 2018) was a NASCAR driver from Waterbury, Connecticut. He competed in thirteen Grand National events in his career, earning five top-tens.

Truelove's debut came in 1953, when he competed at Rochester. Truelove was quick to prove his talent, emerging from the field of eighteen with a 9th place showing.

Truelove did not return to the sport until 1955, though he significantly stepped it up to a six-race schedule. It was a solid year for the driver, for after starting the year 27th at Daytona Beach, Truelove would finish no worse than 19th. Those runs were highlighted by a solid 10th place at Fonda and a career-best 7th place showing at Altamont.

Truelove then competed in five 1956 events, earning a respectable 60th place finish in the points. He had another tough start to his season, finishing 47th down at Daytona and then struggling to 40th at Langhorne. But after that Truelove recovered admirably, finishing 9th at Syracuse, 19th at Old Bridge, and 10th at Langhorne in his career finale.

Truelove's final career race came during the 1957 season, when he competed at Daytona Beach for the final time. It was a disappointing effort for the driver, finishing 55th in the field of fifty-seven.

Truelove died on April 25, 2018 in his Waterbury, Connecticut home surrounded by family.
