Nolan Wilson (born February 17, 1974) is an American race car driver. He currently competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series for Kimmel Racing. He previously competed in the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series, ASA Series and Late Models.

Career[]

Wilson began his racing career in 1991 competing at Volusia County Speedway, New Smyrna Speedway and Orlando Speedway. In 1993 he won the Volusia County Speedway Rookie of the Year award in the Mini Stock division. Nolan moved to Late Models four years later where he competed in the NASCAR Winston Racing Series.  Wilson finished the 1998 season with one win while finishing fourth in track points in just his first season. Later in 1998 he won the prestigious Coca-Cola 100 at New Smyrna Speedway. Nolan made the move to the NASCAR Goodys Dash Series in the year 2000. Over the next three seasons Wilson made 3 starts at Daytona International Speedway resulting in a top 10 and top 20 finish. He also made a start at Charlotte Motor Speedway netting him a top 20 result. Two years later Nolan got a taste of the NASCAR Cup series. He was an acting car chief for two Cup teams and a test and development driver for Raabe Racing over the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Wilson ran in the ASA Late Model Series on a part time basis over the next several years posting solid finishes at series tracks nationwide including Bristol and Iowa Speedways. In the years to follow, Nolan continued racing late models on a part time basis while focusing on his automotive consulting business. In 2025 Nolan made his return to Daytona in the ARCA Menards Series for Kimmel Racing on 2.15.2025 resulting in a 28th place finish and continued his year in the General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway on 4.26.2025 resulting in a top 15 finish. Nolan will continue racing for Kimmel Racing in 2026 at Daytona on February 14th.
