Lionel Johnson (September 16, 1928 - November 6, 2013 ) is a former NASCAR driver from Unionville, VA. He competed in fourteen Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning two top-tens.

Johnson's debut came in 1965, when he competed at Daytona. Johnson got out of the gate quickly, finishing 10th in the Firecracker 400 there. The rest of his nine starts that year went swimmingly as well, as Johnson only DNFed twice to record six top-twenties overall for the year. This included a career-best 9th place finish at Richmond and 11th and 13th place runs at Manassas. With all of this in mind, Johnson finished 48th in points.

Johnson's final five races came in the 1966 season. This season, Johnson just absolutely struggled. He failed to finish any of his five starts that year, as those mechanical issues prevented him from cracking the top-thirty just twice: a 19th at Beltsville and a 17th at Manassas in his final career start.
