Legacy Motor Club (formerly Petty GMS Motorsports) is an American stock car racing team owned by Maurice Gallagher and 7-time Cup champion Jimmie Johnson that competes in the NASCAR Cup Series. The team fields the No. 42, No. 43, and No. 84 Toyota Camrys driven by John Hunter Nemechek (No. 42), Erik Jones (No. 43), and Jimmie Johnson (No. 84).
On December 1, 2021, Gallagher purchased majority share of Richard Petty Motorsports. On December 7th it was announced GMS Racing would be rebranded Petty GMS Motorsports and would be closing Richard Petty Motorsports. The team also unveiled the #43 and #42 Cup cars that would make the teams first Cup debut in 2022.
