Julian Petty is a former NASCAR driver from Greensboro, NC. He competed in three Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten.
Petty's first race came in 1952, when Petty competed at Martinsville. Starting 22nd in the field of twenty-nine, Petty fell seven laps down in the race but still managed to drive to an impressive 7th place finish.
Petty's other races both came in 1955, when he started the year off at Montgomery. Starting 13th in the field, Petty was one three cars that didn't even complete a lap and finished 13th. He didn't improve much in his other race, finishing last (16th) at Plattsburg.
