Jim Wilson is a former NASCAR driver from Springfield, Ontario, Canada. He competed in three Sprint Cup Series events in his career.
Wilson debuted in 1955, racing at Daytona Beach Road Course. Starting 24th in the forty-eight car field, Wilson completed all but two laps in route to a solid 19th place showing.
Wilson's run warranted another try, racing again at the Beach in 1956. Starting 17th in the massive seventy-six car field, Wilson got involved with a first-lap crash and finished 73rd. While in Florida, Wilson entered another event at Palm Beach. This paid off, for after starting 16th Wilson came home with a career best 13th place effort. It was his final career race.
