Jayski's Silly Season Site is a website focusing primarily on NASCAR news and rumors, created by Jay Adamczyk (Jayski), a former United States Air Force mechanic, in August of 1996. Adamczyk started the site after having difficulty finding news regarding the Melling Racing team, and worked to get all the NASCAR news grouped together on his website. The term 'Silly Season' refers to the second half of the racing season, when many teams seek to make changes to prepare for next year.
Jayski's is well known by both NASCAR drivers and fans, and is often mentioned on NASCAR-related television shows. While not always accurate on rumors, Jayski's often had the first scoop on new stories due to contacts formed with members of many NASCAR teams. It is also home to pictures of the many paint schemes that teams use throughout the year, as well as television schedules, and tributes to deceased drivers. From 2002 until 2004, the site was hosted by KnightRidder. From 2005 onwards, the site was hosted by, and affiliated with ESPN.com, though Adamczyk retained full ownership of it. Scott Page and Amanda Brooks joined the site as staff members, with Page managing the Cup Series and Xfinity Series sections of the site while Brooks managed the Truck Series section and many other pages. In 2017, the site was integrated into ESPN.com.
In January 2019, Adamczyk, Page, and Brooks were released by ESPN and updates to Jayski's stopped. The rights to the Jayski's website were later reacquired by Adamczyk and the site was relaunched as an independent website in May.
