Gwyn Staley (July 6, 1927-March 23, 1958) is a former NASCAR driver from Burlington, NC. He competed in sixty-nine Sprint Cup Series events in his career, spanning from 1951 to just a few days before his death. Staley was a solid driver, scoring three victories, two poles, and forty-one top-ten finishes in his sixty-nine events. Although his best points finish was in 1955 (10th), 1957 was by far his most spectacular year. He won all three of his races that year: Myrtle Beach, Syracuse and Langhorne Speedway as well both of his poles. In 1958, Staley had finished in the top-five in all of his first four starts before he was tragically killed.
