Dick Guldstrand is a former NASCAR driver from Manhattan Beach, CA. He competed in seven Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning two top-tens.

Guldstrand made his initial foray into the sport during the 1965 season, competing in the season opener at Riverside. Starting 20th in the field of forty-two, Guldstrand quickly proved his talent by keeping his car out of harm's way and winding up with a 15th place showing.

Guldstrand's lone 1966 event would also come at Riverside, though it proved to be a bit of struggle as opposed to the year before. Starting 31st in the field of forty-four, Guldstrand saw his hopes of another solid finish dashed when his car's differential broke, leaving him 28th at day's end.

Guldstrand did not return to the circuit until the 1970 season, but had an extremely impressive season that year. Starting 25th in the January Riverside event, Guldstrand managed to keep out of trouble once again and this time was rewarded with a 10th place finish. That effort earned him a ride in the June Riverside event, where Guldstrand completed all but fourteen laps to record a career-best 5th place showing.

Guldstrand kept the two-race schedule for the 1971 season, but failed to see the success he had seen the year before. A broken a-frame early in the going at Riverside in January knocked him to 24th. Guldstrand also finished 24th a few weeks later in his other start of the year, falling a number of laps down and struggling to that position at Ontario.

Guldstrand's final career race then came during the 1972 season, when he fielded his own car in the June race at Riverside. Without quality equipment, Guldstrand struggled. Early engine issues took him out of the race for good, ending his career with a disappointing 32nd place finish.
