Boris Jurkovic, born November 8, 1969, is a NASCAR driver from Monee, IL. He also raced full-time in the ASA Late Model Series, where he finished fourth in the 2004 points. He currently races the #53 super late model on asphalt at Berlin Raceway in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series and illiana motor speedway plus south bend in Illinois and Indiana, plus citrus county speedway in florida racing non sanctioned super late model events.
He has competed in one Craftsman Truck Series event in his career. That came in 2006, when Jurkovic drove for Green Light Racing at Gateway. Starting with a good effort of 17th, Jurkovic completed all but ten laps en route to a 25th place showing.
Berlin Raceway
He has competed in the #53 super late model at Berlin Raceway and he is known for being the black super late model racecar with NAPA Auto Parts as a sponsor and toyota camry body. He won the 2021 Busweiser Super Late Model division Icebreaker 75 lap feature at Berlin Raceway in his #53 super late model and Evan Shotko the #22 wasnt too happy and flipped him off with the middle finger, and Shotko said in an Mlive interview, "I dont have a problem racing anyone else, but this guy seems to race me dirty", after Shotko wrecked and didnt finish.
Citrus County Speedway
He has also been seen racing his #53 super late model at Citrus County Speedway in florida.
Illiana motor speedway
He has won many features at Illiana Motor Speedway as well, and like many Berlin Raceway racers who raced at illiana, who make their trip from west Michigan down to illinois, he raced at Illiana before also.
