Bill Schmitt (February 13, 1936 - November 8, 2014) was a NASCAR driver from Redding, CA. He competed in forty-four Sprint Cup Series events in his career, all coming at the West Coast tracks of Riverside, Ontario, and Infineon. Schmitt used his expertise on the tracks to race well, earning two top-fives and six top-tens. His best effort was a 4th at Riverside in 1979.
