Barry Bostik (sp?) is a former NASCAR driver from Hoffman, NC. He competed in eight Nationwide Series events in his career.
Bostik's debut came during the 1982 season, when he competed at Rockingham. Starting positions in the field of thirty-three are unknown, but Bostik had a good run of it and finished 19th.
Bostik stepped it up to a two-race schedule for the 1983 season, again starting the year off at Rockingham. Despite a crash late in the race, Bostik had a solid 15th place finish, one that would later prove to be his career best. Unfortunately, Bostik struggled in his other start during the year, finishing 31st at Charlotte.
Bostik did not return to action until the 1986 season, when he competed at Charlotte once again. He had a better go of it this go round, completing all but sixteen laps to finish in 24th.
Bostik again went on a long hiatus, returning to action in 1992 by making laps around Rockingham. It was another quiet yet respectable day for the driver, who completed all but nine laps to finish in 24th.
Bostik's 1993 schedule ended up featuring both Rockingham races, though his efforts did not go as well as they had in the previous years. Bostik crashed early in the February race and finished up in 36th. He fared little better in the October show, finishing 28th and multiple laps down.
Bostik's final career race came in 1994, when he competed at Rockingham. Unfortunately, it was again not what he could have hoped for. Early engine problems left Bostik 41st in the field of forty-two.
