British Petroleum (more commonly referred to as BP) is a is a British energy company / multinational oil company ("oil major") with headquarters in London, England, UK. The company is among the largest private sector energy corporations in the world, and one of the six "supermajors" (vertically integrated private sector oil exploration, natural gas, and petroleum product marketing companies). They have a very limited experience in NASCAR, having their partnership with Amoco lead to a limited deal in 2001 with Bill Davis Racing.
