Adam Alexander (born July 11, 1973) is a television announcer for Fox Sports 1.
Announcing career[]
Alexander was the studio host and play-by-play announcer for TNT's coverage of NASCAR with Kyle Petty and Wally Dallenbach, and did college football announcing for Fox Sports 1 with Chris Simms, branded under College Football on Fox. He previously did pit reporting for NASCAR on TNT in 2009 before moving to the booth in 2010. In August 2014, he took over as one of two play-by-play announcers for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series broadcasts for Fox, and was made full-time in October for the remainder of the season. For the 2015 season, Alexander was named to the lead for Fox's NASCAR Xfinity Series coverage with Michael Waltrip and a rotating guest analyst filled by select Sprint Cup Series drivers. Alexander Brian Till Mike Joy Vince Welch and Ralph Sheheen rotate to call the 2015 Camping World Truck Series season, as Fox has not named a permanent play-by-play announcer for the series.
Previously, Adam was the host of SPEED Center on the defunct SPEED channel. He previously was a pit reporter for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on the network. In October 2014, he took over hosting NASCAR Race Hub.
Motor Racing Network[]
In addition to NASCAR on TNT and SPEED Channel, Alexander also worked for Motor Racing Network for coverage for NASCAR as a studio host, pit reporter, play-by-play. He worked on the coverage of the [Cup Series|Sprint Cup] and [Series|Nationwide Series] and did play-by-play for the [Camping World Truck Series|NASCAR Camping World Truck Series].

Alexander began his career at television station [[1]] in [Indiana|Evansville, Indiana] where he served as a public address announcer for the Tri-State Speedway and also called games for the [Purple Aces men's basketball|Evansville Purple Aces men's basketball] team.
Alexander has been part of the [Motor Speedway Radio Network|Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network] covering the [500|Indianapolis 500].
Personal life[]
Alexander grew up in Indianapolis, he is a resident of Evansville, Indiana where he graduated from Vincennes University and University of Evansville.
