In the Cup Series, 5-Hour Energy sponsored Steve Wallace in the 2011 Daytona 500. From 2012 through 2016, They sponsored Clint Bowyer and the #15 MWR Toyota. In 2017, they moved to Furniture Row Racing and sponsored the #77 Toyota driven by Erik Jones. In 2018, they were a co-sponsor of Martin Truex Jr and the Furniture Row Racing #78.
In the Xfinity Series, 5-Hour Energy sponsored Steve Wallace from 2009 through 2011, and Brendan Gaughan in 2009.
