The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series will be the 77th season of the NASCAR Cup Series. The season will begin with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 16 and will end with the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway on November 2.

The season is notable for being the first season of a new TV contract that lasts until 2031. This is the first season in which Amazon Prime Video will broadcast NASCAR races, while it also marks the return of TNT to NASCAR Cup Series coverage. It is also the debut season of the Cup Series' In-Season Tournament.

This season will be the first without Stewart-Haas Racing, as well as the first season without Martin Truex, Jr. as a full time driver. It is the first season for Haas Factory Team, the third iteration of a team owned or co-owned by Gene Haas. It will be the first season without GEICO as a premier partner for the Cup Series.

Prior to the season, an antitrust lawsuit was filed by 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports against NASCAR over an updated charter agreement. An injunction filed by those two teams requesting that NASCAR be compelled to allow them to race as chartered entries was denied by a judge on November 8, 2024. On November 16, it was announced that an agreement was reached to allow the teams to race as open entries while the lawsuit continued.
