The 1999 MBNA Platinum 400 was a Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) event held at Dover International Speedway on June 6, 1999. Bobby Labonte started on the pole, led 44 laps and picked up his first victory of the year, holding off Jeff Gordon by nearly one full lap.
