The 1980 Valleydale Southeastern 500 was a Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) event held at Bristol Motor Speedway on March 30, 1980. Dale Earnhardt won his second straight race in dominating fashion, leading 209 of the 500 laps in route to an 8.7-second victory on Darrell Waltrip.
