The 1977 Daytona 500 was a Winston Cup Series (now Sprint Cup) event held at Daytona International Speedway on February 20, 1977. Cale Yarborough dominated NASCAR's biggest event, leading 137 of the 200 laps en route to a 1.4-second victory over Benny Parsons.
