The 1958 Grand National Series was the 10th season of the NASCAR Grand National Series. The season began at Champion Speedway on November 3, 1957 and ended at Lakewood Speedway on October 26.
Lee Petty won his second Grand National championship in his tenth full-time season. He won 7 races in 1958, and scored 28 Top 5s and 43 Top 10s in 50 starts. He only finished outside the Top 10 once in his last 31 races. He surpassed his own record as the oldest Cup Champion at 44 years of age.
