The 1956-56 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Wilson Speedway on November 18, 1956. It was a good and bad day for the Carl Kiekhaefer-owned teams. It was the season finale. Kiekhaefer, however, struck by recent tradegy with his drivers, quit the business following the race. It was his 52nd win as a car owner. Stats
