The 1956-37 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Road America on August 12, 1956. It is the first and essentially only series event to be held during rain. Drivers competed with windshield wipers going, which allowed Tim Flock to win by seventeen seconds on Billy Myers. Eventual season champion Buck Baker recorded an eighth place showing. Stats
