The 1956-02 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Charlotte Speedway on November 20, 1955. (Despite the '55 date, was a race in the '56 season) Fonty Flock led wire to wire, holding off brother Tim by half a carlength for Fonty's final career victory.
