The 1954-08 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Orange Speedway on April 18, 1954. Herb Thomas led just 35 of the 100 laps but managed to ekk out Donald Thomas by one carlength for the victory. Eventual season champ Lee Petty finished 6th. Stats
