The 1952-23 was a Grand National (now Monster Energy Cup) event held at Monroe County Fairgrounds on August 15, 1952. Tim Flock won his second straight race in dominating fashion, leading 142 of the 176 laps before rain handed Flock the victory. Flock, who was the eventual season champion, held off Herb Thomas to the line as the race was called. Stats
